O Forsaken Castle foi desenvolvido para proporcionar uma experiência de jogo mais desafiadora e recompensadora. Ao explorar esta região, os jogadores terão acesso a novos desafios, criaturas poderosas e recompensas obtidas. Para iniciar a task, o jogador deve se dirigir às profundezas do Forsaken Castle. No local, será possível encontrar um teleporte Mystic Flame.gif que leva à área conhecida como Forgotten Crypt. Neste pequeno lugar, o jogador encontrará o NPC Ned the Gravekeeper, que explica sobre a necessidade de enfraquecer o culto de Morvok. Segundo ele, os Crypts são criaturas corrompidas pela energia sombria, e devem ser eliminadas para enfraquecer a influência do culto.

Após o jogador aceitar a missão com Ned the Gravekeeper, ele receberá acesso à Forgotten Crypt Alpha, sendo o primeiro teleporte Death Portal.gif localizado à esquerda na área inicial. Esse teleporte dá início ao progresso da task dentro das criptas corrompidas. Dentro da cripta, será necessário derrotar Cyclursus, Crypt Mages e Roaming Dreads para avançar na task e enfraquecer a influência do culto de Morvok.

Desta vez, os desafios serão ainda maiores, exigindo mais preparo e atenção durante a caçada. Para avançar, o jogador deverá retornar às criptas, dessa vez é a Beta e enfrentar criaturas mais poderosas: Crypt Constructs, Walking Dreads e Haunted Hunters. Esses inimigos representam uma ameaça maior e estão profundamente ligados à influência sombria do culto de Morvok. Certifique-se de estar bem equipado antes de iniciar esta etapa, pois os combates serão significativamente mais desafiadores do que os encontrados na missão anterior.
